ETIQUETTE, an ongoing showcase initiated in 2010, is a multidisciplinary showcase of art, writing and film created by and about women. Addressing gender as a subject of discourse, it uses art as a tool to create spaces within which critical and creative conversations can take place. Since its first run, it has featured the works of 45 artists, writers, filmmakers and curators as well as pertinent women’s issues that most people would rather not discuss at the dinner-table. Its current plans include expanding the showcase to include musical talent, putting together Singapore’s first anthology of women’s writing and adding even more cool interviews to the Beyond Borders section of its blog.
