Jane Porter

Jane Porter is a final year Fine Arts student at Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, who spends her time reading comics about rude girls and dangerous women, drawing cartoons and organizing a monthly Queer Cinema. She is currently documenting her confrontations and revelations concerning sexual identity, desire and mother/daughter dynamnics through text and drawings. In the next few months, she hopes to begin illustrative work on a sequel to the Adventures of Lofty De Lizzard; a picture book she illustrated, written by Jaclyn Chan and published in 2006 with a grant from the Media Development Authority of Singapore.
